About Get AMPT

Denise has been a pediatric physical therapist since 2006 which is when she graduated with a Doctorate in Physical therapy from A.T. Still University in Arizona. I love working with children and will gladly tell you that adults bore me!  I am a wife, a mom to 3 and a grandmother to 2. I currently have 2 pups; Gracie and Stella, and yes, I mean puppies, and 1 old lady cat who is very much stuck in her old lady ways.  I am currently a CME II certified therapist. I have also been trained and certified in Therasuit Method and the Universal Exercise Unit (aka Spidercage).  Other classes/certifications that I have taken over the years include Kinesio taping, aquatic therapy, myofascial release, fascial scraping, and several others. My husband constantly teases me that I am a perma-student.

 Angela brings 20 years of technical knowledge to the AMPT team as a former Software Engineer.  She is more than the women behind the systems at Adaptive Movements, she is a parent to a child with a disability. Kaelyn has inspired AMPT when met with the challenge that most special needs parents face: the cost of care and the schedule of therapy and specialists, making it extremely difficult to balance a career outside the home and the care she needs. With years of travelling all over the Southwest for game changing therapy, decided to strengthen our own community by bringing a pediatric intensive therapy model to Phoenix, AZ with the Berry best.

Yasmina is the Marketing Assistant here at Adaptive Movements. She graduated from Salisbury University with a bachelor's in communications and a minor in marketing in 2022. While in school, she helped advocate for changes to the university’s accessibility. Yasmina also helped promote a student-led website about job searching with her lead generation skills.  Yasmina hopes that being part of the AMPT family will bring this unique form of intensive therapy AMPT offers to the front lines and help families in need. Yasmina knows the importance of therapy first-hand as she is blessed with the gift of Cerebral Palsy and has been in therapy since she was 18 months old; she is now in her 20s.
